Speedway Miramichi Announces 2015 Schedule, Facility For Sale March 23, 2015 Regional Speedway Miramichi management have announced a six-race schedule for 2015 and at the same time that the facility in northern New Brunswick is for sale. According to a note posted on their website the schedule was delayed as the owners were faced with tough decisions. But rather than see the facility sit idle, as it did for a few years prior to the current ownership taking the reigns late in 2012, it will continue to run as new owners are sought over the coming season. The 2015 season will see competition in the following divisions: demolition, street stock, mini stock, Atlantic Modified Tour, Eastern Super Mini Cup, as well as the second annual Chi City Showdown on Sept. 19 featuring pro stock, sportsman, bandolero, Atlantic Modified Tour, and mini stock. The website post says the owners have other demanding businesses on the go that keep them busy and so decided to offer the opportunity for a new owner to take advantage of the effort they have made in upgrading the facility and in rebuilding stock car racing in the area. 2015 Speedway Miramichi Schedule May 30 – Points Day 1 June 20 – Points Day 2 August 15 – tba August 29 – Points Day 3 Sept. 19 – Chi City Showdown (practice Sept. 18; rain date Oct. 3) Oct. 17 – Demo Spooktacular Schedule is subject to change without notice.
