Scotia Speedworld Readies for Busy 2018; Schedule Posted March 3, 2018 Regional HALIFAX, NS – Management for Scotia Speedworld have posted the facilities 2018 event schedule showing 20 stock car racing shows and the annual Monster Jam Tour weekend. Racing starts May 20 and ends September 15 with CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series shows on Friday’s with the exception of the season opener on Sunday, May 20. Special events include four visits by the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour, Maritime League of Legends, and the East Coast Mini Stock Tour. And, there are four doubleheader weekends on deck with stock car racing at the 3/10-mile oval on both Friday and Saturday evenings. While the Monster Jam Tour has been visiting Scotia Speedworld annually since 2004, this is the first time they will make a summer appearance – roaring into town for three shows July 7 and 8. And, for the first time in a long time, the facility will take a “formal” mid-season break with nothing scheduled for the July 13th weekend. 2018 Schedule – Scotia Speedworld Schedule is subject to change without notice.
