RIVER GLADE, NB – Laurie Cormier (Riverview, NB) raced to his third River Glade International title by taking home the Jones Auto Body 100 for the AE McKay Builders Late Model Sportsman Friday night at Petty International Raceway. Cormier topped a field of 17 to open the 55th Jones Auto Body River Glade International with a victory. Michael Cormier (Grand-Barachois, NB) was the winner of the Street Stock event with JR Lawson (Shubenacadie, NS) racing to the victory in the Mini Stock feature.

The following are unofficial quick results from the 55th Jones Auto Body River Glade International, taking place at Petty International Raceway in River Glade, New Brunswick on Friday, August 23rd.

The action continues this evening at Petty International Raceway with the running of the Cummins 200, Round 10 of 12 on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. The Maritime League of Legends Tour, Mister Transmission Mini Stocks and Leisure Days RV Bandoleros will play support. Racing action begins at 6pm on Saturday, August 24th. Grandstand admission prices for Saturday’s events at Petty International Raceway are $35 for adults and $10 for youth aged eight to 18, while children seven years of age and under will be admitted free. Pit admission is $40 and is restricted to those 16 years of age and older.
