Monday’s schedule follows: 8:30 a.m. – Garage Opens 9:00 a.m. – Grandstand & Box Office Opens 9:00 a.m. – PLM Heat # 2, #3, #4 (air pressure, air filter) 10:00 a.m. – PLM Heat # 2 resumes on lap 2, followed by heat races #3 and #4 10:45 a.m. – Super Stock Heat Races 11:30 a.m. PLM Last Clance Race (Cars Impounded) 12:30 p.m. – Super Stock – Saugeen Shores 50 laps. (in car intros) 1:30 p.m. – PLM Autograph Session on front stretch 2:00 p.m. – Pre-Race – Driver Intro’s 2:10 p.m. – Pro Late Model 250 laps Tentative, Subject to Change / All Times Listed are Local (Eastern Standard Time) Knockout qualifying for the pro late models was completed along with heat race #1. Eddie MacDonald (Rowler, MA) set the pace in pro late model time trials with a fast time of 18.452-seconds around the 1/2-mile oval. JR Fitzpatrick (Cambridge, ON) was second quick followed by Brian Campbell (Wyoming, MI); the top 16 were locked into starting spots for the $75,000-to-win 250-lap feature. The rest of the competitors will run heat races to earn a starting spot in the feature; those still not qualified for the main event will run the last chance race to see if they make the grid for the feature. Fifty-five cars took times in round one of qualifying. Taylor Holdaway (Orillia, ON) won the first heat race followed by Steve Laking (Guelph, ON) and Sammy Smith (Johnson, IA); complete unofficial results of the first race are here. Fans with Sunday tickets should bring their stubs Monday for admission. The box office will open at 9 a.m. for ticket sales.
