Officials at Oyster Bed Speedway, in collaboration with those for the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour, Cross Roads Legends Tour, and Passione Flooring East Coast Mini Stock Tour, have postponed the event planned for Saturday until Sunday, due to weather. Racing starts at 2 p.m. Sunday; the pit gate opens at 9:30 a.m. and the grandstand opens at Noon.

Pro Stock Tour in PEI Saturday for Fleetrite 150

(June 29, 2022) – The East Coast International Pro Stock Tour is headed to scenic Prince Edward Island this Saturday for the Fleetrite 150. This will be the Series’ first visit to Oyster Bed Speedway since the 2019 season. The race will mark round five of 12 for the popular touring series. Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races will kick-off racing action at 4:00pm, grandstands open at 2:00pm.

With the mid-way point of the season fast approaching championship points are coming into focus. Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) continues to lead the standings, as he has all season. Slaunwhite’s closest competitor is 2021 Rookie of the Year Matt Vaughan (Bedford, NS) who is 38 points behind as we enter the Fleetrite 150.  Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS), Cole Butcher (Hantsport, NS) and Greg Proude round out the top-five respectively and are all within striking distance of the title.

Also on the racing card for Saturday are the Maritime League of Legends and East Coast Mini Stock Tour who will each run 50-lap features. Street Stocks are also on the card and will compete in a 25-lap feature prior to the Fleetrite 150. 

The East Coast International Pro Stock Tour will also host its first autograph session of the season at the Fleetrite 150. Fans will have an opportunity to get up and personal with the cars and stars of the Series. The Autograph session is currently slated to take place following the opening class features.

Tickets for the Fleetrite 150 will be available at the gates on race day only. Adult tickets are $30.00, youth (8-18yrs) are $10.00, seven and under are free. Admission to the pits is $35.00.
