The Maritime League of Legends Tour (MLOL) is pleased to announce the series 2017 schedule of events featuring an expansion to 10 races which will take place at five oval race tracks in all three Maritime Provinces. All feature events will be 50 laps in length. The Maritime League of Legends Tour will once again open their season on Saturday, May 20 at Scotia Speedworld. The track will host three events on the 2017 MLOL schedule including races on August 12 and the season finale on September 16. Nova Scotia’s Riverside International Speedway will host two events including a Friday night, July 14 show on the IWK 250 Super Weekend and a Saturday, August 19 race as the undercard to the NASCAR Pinty’s Series stop at the high banked oval. New Brunswick will host three Maritime League of Legends Tour events in 2017. Speedway 660 returns to the schedule with a race on Saturday, September 2 as a part of Speedweekend 2017. Petty International Raceway will host two events, up from one in 2016, one on Saturday, July 22, and the other Saturday, August 26 as part of the 53rd River Glade International weekend. The only scheduled stop in Prince Edward Island is Saturday, August 5 at Oyster Bed Speedway. An additional event is expected during the month of June and will be posted at MaritimeLegends.ca once confirmed. The Maritime League of Legends Tour is also excited to welcome Scott Hall and Darren Sherwood to their Board of Directors for 2017. Hall will serve as president and Sherwood as vice president. Hall and Sherwood were voted to their positions at the series AGM on January 15.
