Jukasa Opener Set for Saturday with NASCAR Pinty’s Series APC200 May 29, 2019 Miscellaneous HAGERSVILLE, ON – Canada’s National Tour – the NASCAR Pinty’s Series – highlights a jam-packed June 1st schedule that will kickstart Jukasa Motor Speedway’s 2019 season. On Friday night in the Pavilion you can see the Celtic Rockers, The Mudmen for free with your race ticket or $10 at the door. The NASCAR Pinty’s Series’ APC 200 will follow the return of the OSCAAR Modified Tour and OSCAAR Hot Rod Series to Jukasa Motor Speedway. “We are excited to have the NASCAR Pinty’s Series for our season opener,” notes Jukasa Motor Speedway General Manager Alex Nagy. “The APC 200 along with the Queenston Chev OSCAAR Modified Tour and the (OSCAAR) Hot Rod Series will be a great mix for our fans with some of the best talent in the province on display” Reigning NASCAR Pinty’s Series LP Dumoulin is expected to be a factor at the event as he looks to set his sights on a second consecutive series title. “I can’t wait to get to Jukasa,” says Dumoulin. “We left there in the fall with a series championship and we’re focused on making sure that we put together another strong performance (on June 1st) because you really can’t underestimate how important it is to get your season started on a positive note” The previous appearance by the OSCAAR Modified Tour at Jukasa was won by Gary McLean where as the most recent OSCAAR Hot Rod Series event was won by Tyler Hawn. Both drivers are expected to be in attendance on June 1st to defend their victories. Kevin Lacroix and D.J Kennington won the two NASCAR Pinty’s Series races last year and will be in attendance to try and repeat along with all the other starts of the series.
