Oyster Bed Speedway in Prince Edward Island will be the site for the first-ever Maritime Street Stock Showdown on June 24, an event presented by BPMS which is owned by well-known racer and sports figure Tom Nicholls. The 100-lap race will pay $1,500 to win from the $7,800 purse and is open to all street stock cars and to competitors in Scotia Speedworld’s truck class. The event will see support class racing in all of the track’s house divisions (mini stock, mini outlaws, and late model modified). Adult admission will be the posted rate for Oyster Bed Speedway’s weekly shows and kids under 15 will be admitted free.
