Food Truck Rally and Show & Shine Set for August 10 at Scotia Speedworld July 25, 2017 Regional Management for Scotia Speedworld are excited to announce their First Annual Food Truck Rally and Show & Shine. The event will be part of the Atlantic Cat 250 weekend and will take place on track at Scotia Speedworld on Thursday, August 10th from 4:00 –10:00 pm. The inaugural event will feature nine popular food trucks, antique car show & shine, beer garden, live DJ, and FanZone! Tickets for the First Annual Food Truck Rally and Show & Shine are $5.00, CAT 250 weekend pass holders will get in for free! Bring your appetite as we will have nine of Halifax’s most popular food trucks ready to serve every style of cuisine to please your taste buds. Food trucks confirmed to appear are: Jamaica Lee Style Cuisine, Halifax Donair Shop, Cheese Curds, Ol’ School Donuts, Halifax Footlongs, Smokinstein, Asado Wood Fired Grill, Kismit Kettlecorn and Let’s Eat Beer. The Halifax Antique Car Club will be on site with lots of amazing hot rods with which fans can get up close and personal. Fans will also see a 1967 Chevelle race car recently restored to its race-ready condition as driven by Greg Sewart in the mid 1970’s. The FanZone will be set up on track and will feature some of the stars and cars of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour and CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series. Atlantic Cat will have some of their cool equipment on display that fans can climb aboard. Q104 will also be broadcasting live, on site from the FanZone. More items are being added to the FanZone daily, stay tuned for more exciting announcements. And if all of that isn’t enough, DJ Chad White will be rocking tunes throughout the evening as well as a Molson Beer Garden. The First Annual Food Truck Rally and Show & Shine is being produced by Scotia Speedworld in conjunction with Q104, Atlantic Cat, and Molson. Tickets for the event are $5.00 and will be available at the gates starting at 4:00pm on Thursday August 10th. Atlantic Cat 250 weekend ticket holders can present their passes for free admission to the event. Tickets for the Atlantic Cat 250 race will be available for purchase at the event.
