Eastbound Speedway Kicks Off 2017 May 21 with Islander RV Duals May 9, 2017 Regional AVONDALE, NL – Eastbound International Speedway opens the 2017 season May 21 with the Islander RV Duals. New for this year will be RV parking where fans can kick off their camping season by staying for the weekend. The inaugural Islander RV Tailgate Party featuring ‘Burnout’ will be held May 20 with admission for Sunday race ticket holders and teams. Camping sites are limited availability and require ticket purchase to reserve. Sunday is race day with gates opening at Noon and racing at 1 p.m. Four divisions will start the season, the Islander RV Bandolero, the Atlantic Dodge Dealers Hobby Stock, the Hanlon Realty US Legends, and the NAPA Auto Parts Sportsman. Nine races are on the card, with the hobby stock and sportsman divisions sanctioned by the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and Legends and Bandoleros by INEX. Tickets are $15 for under 12, $20 General Admission, $60 for Family Pass (2 GA / 2 Under 12) and $40 for Weekend RV Parking with purchase of two tickets.
