Dartmouth’s Gary Crooks Purchases Port City Racecars

MOORESVILLE, NC – Gary Crooks (owner of Crooks Racing and native of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia) and associates are announcing the purchase of Port City Racecars. Harley Boeve of Port City Racecars approached Gary mid summer concerning his interest in Port City. Crooks Racing has been the southeast dealer/repair centre for Port City for three plus years.

Harley Boeve stated that Port City has been his passion for 45 years and has never been a job, but feels it is now time to pass the torch to Gary Crooks who has the same passion. Gary has purchased all the Parts inventory, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous shop equipment and will be relocating Port City to his facility in Mooresville, NC.

Starting November 5 all Port City Racecars day to day operations will be handled in their Mooresville NC location with all the quality and customer service that PC customers have become accustomed to. Harley Boeve will remain involved as a consultant for a period of time and wants to try to ensure as smooth a transition as possible during this process. He wants to assure Port City customers that they can expect the same quality and service into the next chapter of Port City Racecars.
