Patrick showed her displeasure with Kasey Kahne, with whom whose car hers had made contact, by going on the racing surface after exiting her car to gesture Kahne’s passing car – violating safety rules outlined in the NASCAR Rule Book. Kyle Busch was fined $10,000 and placed on NASCAR probation for the next four NASCAR Championship Points Races through April 27 after failing to meet media obligations, as imposed by NASCAR rules, following the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Auto Club Speedway. Warnings for various NASCAR Sprint Cup Series inspection issues were issued to Richard Childress Racing No. 3 with driver Austin Dillon, Joe Gibbs Racing No. 20 with driver Matt Kenseth, Wood Brothers Racing No. 21 with driver Ryan Blaney, Richard Childress Racing No. 27 with driver Paul Menard, Joe Gibbs Racing No. 19 with driver Carl Edwards, and Circle Sport Levine Family Racing No. 95 with driver Micahel McDowell.
