MIRAMICHI CITY, NB – Prince Edward Island’s Jonathan Hicken beat Saint John’s Lonnie Sommerville to win the pro stock leg of the Chi City Showdown at Miramichi City Speedway Saturday night. Maine’s Cassius Clark was third in the King Racing entry. Only three cars finished on the lead lap after all 125 laps of the feature ran caution free. Alexandra O’Blenis won the street stock feature and Braden Langille won the Bandolero feature. On Friday Devin Snell won the 100-lap sportsman feature followed to the finish line by veteran Bill Sommerville as he made the final start of his full-time racing career; Dave O’Blenis was third. JR Lawson won the mini stock feature and Robert Miner won the Atlantic Modified Tour feature. Amanda Wheatley won the Eastern Mini Cup feature.
