NASCAR via Getty ImagesAustin Cindric Claims Truck Series Pole at CTMP on 19th Birthday September 3, 2017 NASCAR BOWMANVILLE, ONTARIO – Austin Cindric gave himself a birthday present on Saturday in winning the pole for Sunday’s Chevrolet Silverado 150 at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, the only annual trek north of the border for NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series. Cindric, who drives for Brad Keselowski Racing, beat Justin Haley who will start second and Kaz Grala who starts third. It was Cindric’s first career pole with the series. Thirty-two trucks participated in qualifying; all 32 will start Sunday’s race at the 2.4-mile road course. Alex Tagliani was the fastest of four Canadians entered in the race; he will start eighth.
