HALIFAX, NS – The late Scott Fraser became the first stock car racer to ever be inducted to the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame last night. Fraser was represented by his brother Frank Fraser Jr. at the ceremony in Halifax’s World Trade & Convention Centre. With this achievement Scott Fraser becomes the most decorated stock car racer in Maritime motorsports, having been inducted to the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2006, the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2007, and the Colchester Sport Heritage Hall of Fame in 2010. He died in 2004 as the result of a snowmobile accident; he was just 33 years old.
