Five Star Increases Support for Easy-Kleen SLMS Series February 8, 2024 Regional After supporting the drivers and teams during the inaugural season of the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series, Five Star Race Car Bodies has expanded its commitment for the 2024 season. For 2024, the contingency award at each race has been boosted from $100 to a $150 (USD) credit from Five Star Race Car Bodies. Additionally, Five Star has committed to offering a complete Next Gen Five Star body (minus spoiler and glass) as a year-end contingency prize at the 2024 awards banquet – increased from a $500 credit in ’23. “This is an incredible display of support from Five Star Bodies for the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series,” said Race Director Brent Roy. “Our group prides ourselves on supporting our drivers, and Five Star committing to support the teams in this series is huge for everyone.” Based in Atlantic Canada, the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series was formed in the fall of 2022 through a partnership between three local race tracks. The inaugural six-race season in 2023 saw Dylan Gosbee claim the championship. The Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series commences its second season on Saturday, May 11 at Petty International Raceway with the Fog City Auto Spa 150. Six races will be contested between Petty, Speedway 660, and Oyster Bed Speedway, with the 2024 champion being crowned on Saturday, August 17. Registration for the 2024 Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series is now available for all competitors. Teams can find the registration page online at SLMS.ca/registration. Full-time competitors’ registration deadline is March 15 after which the race-by-race registration fee will apply.
