East Coast Mini Stock Tour Returns for 2021

The Passione Flooring & Interiors East Coast Mini Stock Tour returns to the track in 2021 with an eleven race schedule. Ten of those races will comprise the championship point chase with a late Summer date at the only permanent road circuit in the Maritimes capping off the year for the Series. In total, the Passione Flooring & Interiors East Coast Mini Stock Tour will visit eight venues throughout the three Maritime Provinces, making it the most diverse schedule of any Maritime-based stock car touring series.

The first seven races on the Tour will take place at seven different race tracks throughout the region. The season begins with a trip to Speedway 660 in Geary, New Brunswick for the Bryn Enterprises Season Opener. From there, the series will crisscross the Maritime Provinces before returning to New Brunswick’s Capital Region for a pair of races presented by Pub’s Drive Thru Bottle Exchange on SpeedWeekend 2021 on Saturday, September 4th and Sunday, September 5th.

The month of June will be spent in Nova Scotia but will cover a lot of ground. The Series returns to Sydney Speedway on Cape Breton Island for a Saturday, June 19th event. The next week, the Series heads back to the mainland for their only stop at Scotia Speedworld on Saturday, June 26th. With the June 26th race being a home race for several Series teams and Series sponsor Passione Flooring & Interiors, it is sure to be one of the most hotly contested events of 2021.

July will see a first stop at Oyster Bed Speedway for the five year old Series. The 50-lap feature presented by Byrne Plumbing and Big Jay’s Carpentry will take place on Saturday, July 3rd at the Oyster Bed Bridge, Prince Edward Island track. The next week, the Tour comes back across the Confederation Bridge to Petty International Raceway for a race on Saturday, July 10th. The only scheduled stop at Petty Raceway for the Series in 2021 is on one of their biggest weekends of the year – the 57th River Glade International.

August begins with the Tour’s annual trip to Southwest Nova Scotia and Lake Doucette Motor Speedway. The Sunday, August 8th date is a popular one with teams and fans alike as the Passione Flooring & Interiors East Coast Mini Stock Tour is the only touring series to visit the half mile oval annually.

Riverside International Speedway will play a pivotal role in the championship with two of the final four races taking place on the high banks. The first of which takes place during the Saturday, August 21st Grass Roots Racing Extravaganza and the second will see a champion crowned on Saturday, September 11th. Dave Matthews (Kennetcook, NS) earned his first Passione Flooring & Interiors East Coast Mini Stock Tour championship in 2019 in a nail biting finish at the James River, Nova Scotia oval.

Atlantic Motorsports Park will play host to the Passione Flooring & Interiors East Coast Mini Stock Tour for the first time during the September 18th and 19th weekend. The non-point exhibition event will see qualifying on Saturday and feature racing on Sunday. A complete format for the racing weekend at the 1.6-mile, 11 turn road course will be released later this Summer.

Along with race sponsors Bryn Enterprises, Pub’s Drive Thru Bottle Exchange, Big Jay’s Carpentry and Byrne Plumbing, EIT Race Radios, CannaConnect, Giles Auto World, RockAuto.com and Joes Racing Products have joined the Series as contingency partners in 2021. These five companies are in addition to Passione Flooring & Interiors by Quality Sterling Group, who was previously announced as the returning title sponsor of the Series for the upcoming season.
