Petty Int’l Raceway Open for Practice; Plus Season Update May 11, 2020 Regional From the Petty Raceway Facebook page… After the New Brunswick government announced we have entered the Orange Phase of recovery we made inquiries into what category our business falls into. We are part of the Yellow Phase that should be announced 2 to 4 weeks from now. However, even if the yellow phase occurs, that does not mean gatherings over 50 people will be allowed. That is listed “To Be Determined” as follows: “Referencing the Recovery Plan, it seems as though the next phase (yellow) would allow gatherings up to 50 people. It also mentions that the following businesses allowed to reopen are TBD in the yellow phase… Other sectors to be determined: The reopening of casinos, amusement centers, bingo halls, arcades and cinemas, bars (without seating), large live performance venues, large public gatherings (i.e. festivals), overnight camps will be determined at a later date when additional evidence is available on the continued success of the province in managing a resurgence of the virus.” Let’s hope things continue to go well.
