Amherst Nova Scotia’s Ryan Mackintosh will make his Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour (PST) debut in the Lucas Oil 100 at River Glade, New Brunswick’s Petty International Raceway on June 28. Mackintosh is the 2013 United States INEX Legend Car Semi-Pro Champion as well as the winner of United States Nationals event in 2013. Mackintosh has lived in North Carolina for the past 5 seasons driving for Chris Woods Racing. The Amherst native will be attending Wingate University in North Carolina in August and will be continuing to race on a limited schedule during the school year. “I am excited to get a chance to make my debut in a super late model on the Tour and to be able to race so close to home is going to be fun”, stated Mackintosh, who will drive a car owned by six-time PST champion, and Petty co-owner, Wayne Smith. “When we heard Ryan was going to be home for part of the summer it seemed to be a great fit to have him run for us,” said Smith.
