MONCTON, NB – The Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame (MMHF) welcomed 10 new inductees this past Saturday night during the 11th annual Induction Ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Each was welcomed into the hallowed Hall with a video introduction and presented with a commemorative plaque and exclusive specially-commissioned Inductee ring, sponsored by King Racing.

More than 175 friends, family, and fans of the inductees gathered to witness the gala occasion which also served as a fundraiser for the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame. Guests were also generous with their support of the MMHF through the silent auction and the annual inductee flag auction, sponsored by Milco and won by Toys for Big Boys with a Bid of $825.00.

The evening was filled with emotion as each inductee was acknowledged for their accomplishments in and contributions to Maritime motorsports. Each inductee or their representative spoke following their induction. The new inductees come from all genres of motorsports and from the three Maritime Provinces.

The 2017 Maritime Motorsports Induction Ceremony will be held in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on November 18. Inductee nominations should be made by April 1; inductees will be announced during the summer. Anyone can nominate their motorsports heroes for consideration.
