Tim Horton’s Renews Rookie Sponsorship at Scotia Speedworld March 2, 2016 Regional Management at Scotia Speedworld are excited to announce that Tim Horton’s at the Airport will return to sponsor the Rookie of the Year Award for all six divisions in Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series. A cash award (with the exception of Bandoleros) and trophy will be presented to the winning rookie in each class at the year-end awards banquet compliments of Tim Horton’s at the Airport. “We`re pleased to have Tim Horton’s at the Airport return as our Rookie of the Year sponsor for all divisions,” said Ken Cunning, general manager of Scotia Speedworld. “They are a well-recognized company that is active in the community and we are excited to partner with them.” Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series kicks off the 2016 season on Sunday, May 22 with all divisions competing in the Season Opener. Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. SSW is the only track in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars.
