Sydney Speedway officials have cancelled the racing weekend scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday (Aug 22 and 23). Personal matters within the PPM Inc. Racing team, the core group that oversees operations at Sydney Speedway, has forced officials to make the tough decision.

Management for Sydney Speedway apologizes for the inconvenience to teams. Registered teams that have paid their registration for the August weekend will receive a full refund.

The next scheduled event for Sydney Speedway is Sunday, September 27 before the second annual Thanksgiving Thunder takes the spotlight from October 9 to 11. Teams should follow the Sydney Speedway Facebook Page for any additional event information.
