Speedworld Offering $5 Admission This Friday

HALIFAX, NS – Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series returns to its usual 7:00 PM time slot this Friday evening. Kicking off the summer long Friday night series is Hydraulics Plus Night featuring the Hydraulics Plus Bandolero division. Also on track this weekend are the Dartmouth Dodge Sportsman, Strictly Hydraulics Legends, Coors Light Trucks and Thunder cars. Adult tickets are $12.00; Youth tickets (8-15 years) are just $2.00 and children 7 and under are admitted for free all season at Scotia Speedworld! Tickets will be available at the gate on race day (cash only). Grandstand gates open at 5:00 PM.

Last weekend Grave Digger and his Maple Leaf Monster Jam buddies entertained thousands of fans over the course of three action packed shows. If you were one those lucky folks you can present your 2014 Monster Jam ticket stub at the grandstand gates this Friday night and receive adult admission to Hydraulics Plus Night for just $5.00. (Grandstands only, not upgradable to pits, offer valid for Friday, June 6th only)

With just one event for the Hydraulics Plus Bandolero division in the books for the 2014 season the points race has just begun. These talented young drivers put on a great show at the Weekly Racing Series Season Opener which saw Braden Langille (Shubenacadie) take home the first checkered flag of the season after a last lap pass on 2013 division champ Adam Meehan (Rawdon). Fans can expect great racing action every Friday night all summer from the Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros and all of the Weekly Racing Series divisions!

Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. SSW is the only track in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars.
