Devin Snell has served notice that he will be a serious championship contender in the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman division at Speedway 660. On Kid’s Night Snell won the feature for the second time in two weeks.

“It was awesome to get our first ever feature win last week, but winning again tonight is something else and I want to thank this race team for putting a great car under me again” said a happy Snell from the Riverview Ford Victory Lane. “And to see two other cars out of the Lonnie Sommerville Racing shop on the podium is pretty impressive too and I want to congratulate Randy and Drew on their great runs.”

Randy Moore finished second in the Sportsman feature, while Drew Greenlaw drove home third. Ryan Messer won his first ever Sportsman heat race earlier in the evening, while Dawson McIntee was the other heat winner.

Lonnie Sommerville won a thrilling Re/Max Group Four Realty Pro Stock feature on Saturday night. Sommerville powered his way to the front midway through the fifty lap feature and had to hold off Greg Fahey to claim the win. Cole Boudreau was third in the feature after winning his heat race. The other Pro Stock heat race went to Matt Harris.

“Greg sure put some pressure on me those final few laps, but I’ll race against him any day of the week because we respect and trust each other when we go door to door or bumper to bumper” Sommerville said. “Tomorrow is Father’s Day and I’m going to enjoy the day with my wife Laura and beautiful daughters Madison and Katie and then on Monday I’ll be back in the shop trying to make this race car better.”

Kid’s Night was also good to Geoff Tugwell. The Smithtown driver won the 30 lap DMR Auto Sales & Service Street Stock feature. Roger Slocum finished second, while Rob Raynes continued his string of podium finishes by coming home third. Destiny Enkel and Slocum won the Street Stock heat races.
Ira Farnell won the Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter feature. Jeremy Doran and Neil Miousse finished second and third. Matt Crocker and Doran were winners in the Sharp Shooter heat races.

The West Wood Estates 25 lap Banolero Blast provided fans with plenty of excitement. Braden Langille continued his hot streak with a hard fought victory over Ashton Tucker. Riley Goodwin scored a third place finish, while Langille and Austin MacDonald took the Bando heat races.

Next Saturday night Speedway 660 host Twin Fifty Lap features for Sharp Shooters and Street Stocks. And on Saturday, July 4th, the Parts for Trucks Maritime Pro Stock Tour rolls into the Geary Woods for their only visit of the year.
