Updated Sunday at 3:30 p.m. AT

Side-effects of tropical storm Gordon washed out all on-track activity at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday. As a result, the NASCAR Xfinity Series race which had been scheduled for Saturday is postponed until Monday, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series qualifying is canceled with Sunday’s starting lineup based on point standings, and the start time for Sunday’s race is moved ahead by one hour.

Even with all that, Sunday’s forecast is wet. NASCAR will reassess the situation Sunday and make every attempt to get the show in if at all possible. Sunday’s planned start time is 1:00 p.m. ET, Monday’s start time for the Xfinity Series race is 10:00 a.m. ET.

Fans should check local listings for Monday broadcast information on the Xfinity Series race,
