March 20 signifies the start of spring – a new season that marks the start of so many things with the transformations of Mother Nature. The flowers and trees begin their growth for another season, temperatures are moving from miserable to manageable, often coinciding with the moods of many. But for those who were close to Scott Fraser, the start of spring is forever overshadowed by the tragic news of his passing in the early morning hours on this day in 2004. And while we embrace all that spring means we mourn the loss of a great person and so we take this opportunity to mark a life that touched so many and ended far too soon. When we started this website in 2006, we dedicated it to him and named it for one of his sayings. In 2014, on the 10th anniversary of his passing, we told our story of that fateful day – an article that remains the most resonant of any we’ve told. Each year on this day we rededicate our site to Scott in hopes we can provide even a small percentage of the racing entertainment he provided for us. You can learn more, or remember, Scott with a visit to our legacy site in his memory at www.scottfraseronline.com. Remembering Scott Fraser Oct. 20, 1970 - March 20, 2004
