Pro Stock Tour at Scotia Speedworld on Saturday June 18, 2015 Regional HALIFAX, NS – The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour heads to the tight, 3/10-mile Scotia Speedworld oval for the Nova Truck Centres 150 this Saturday. The Nova Truck Centres 150 marks the second of four stops at Scotia Speedworld on the 2015 schedule and race four of 12 for the popular stock car racing series. Grandstand gates for the Nova Truck Centres 150 open at 3:00 PM; Atlantic Tiltload Time Trials will get underway at 5:10 PM with racing slated for 6:00 PM. The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour championship point standings got a shake-up following the Ron MacGillivray Chevrolet Buick GMC 150 at Riverside International Speedway last weekend. Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro) continues to hold top spot, but just one point separates he and Donald Chisholm (Antigonish). Dylan Gosbee (Cornwall, PE) is currently in third position followed by fellow Islander Darren MacKinnon (Charlottetown, PE) in fourth. Two-time series champ Shawn Turple (Enfield) completes the top five. Also on the Saturday racing card with the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour are three of Scotia Speedworld’s Weekly Racing Series divisions. Joining the Tour are the four-cylinder Chickenburger Thunder & Lightning cars who will run 25 lap features along with the Coors Light Trucks. All three divisions are sure to light up the track prior to the Nova Truck Centres 150. Race Time Radio will also be joining us on Saturday for the Nova Truck Centres 150.
