Pro Stock Tour at Petty Saturday for River Glade International Event

The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is headed to Petty International Raceway this Saturday for the Cummins 150. This is the third and final trip of the season to the ¼ mile oval located in River Glade, NB. The 150-lap stock car event marks round 10 of 12 for the popular regional touring series. The Cummins 150 is the highlight event of the 52nd running of the River Glade International. Grandstands for Saturday’s main event open at 3:00 PM, qualifying will take place at 6:00 PM with Atlantic Tiltload heat races.

With just three races to go the championship chase is heating up, mathematically many teams are still in it but have ground to make up on the top two. Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) extended his point lead to 43 markers over second place Cole Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS). Cassius Clark (Farmington, ME) falls to third after a mechanical issue forced him to retire early at the last meet. Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) and Donald Chisholm (Antigonish, NS) round out the top five but need errors from the top teams to put themselves in championship contention heading into the final events of the season.

Kicking off Saturday’s racing card will be the Leisure Days Bandoleros and the Upper Clements Park Maritime League of Legends who will race a 50 lap feature prior to the Cummins 150. Tickets for the CUMMINS 150 will be available at the gates (cash only). Admission is $30.00 for adults, $10.00 for youth (8-18 yrs.); children 7 and under are free. Pit admission is $35.00.
