Monster Weekend on Deck at Centre for Speed October 13, 2017 Regional SHEDIAC, NB -The CENTRE For Speed in Grand Barachois, New Brunswick, is back in action for a third consecutive weekend as the motorsports and entertainment facility will host the annual Atlantic MONSTER Nationals. The two-day event will feature a little something for every motorsport fan as the season draws to a close after the October 14th and 15th event. Showtime for both days is slated for 2 pm. Atlantic MONSTER Nationals will be highlighted by Monster Truck action on both days. These colossal, high powered machines will perform multiple disciplines fans are accustomed to seeing, whether it is on television or at shows across the continent. With the CENTRE For Speed’s wide open infield, it presents the perfect venue for high flying freestyle, big speeds in racing and lots of space for wheelies and burnouts. The lineup for the show currently includes Culture Shock, Bucking Bronco, Xtreme Jim and Illuminator. Lineup for the show is current as of press time and subject to change without notice. Fans will be able to get up close and personal with the trucks, their drivers and crews during the Pit Party. The Pit Party will take place on the track surface beginning at 11:45am prior to both the Saturday and Sunday shows. Those who want to take a ride in a Monster Truck will have the opportunity to do so on both days with the Bucking Bronco Too Ride Truck. Demolition Events will play support on both days of Atlantic MONSTER Nationals. The big V8 competitors will be a part of the Saturday show while drivers with Four and Six Cylinder vehicles will have their chances to smash for cash on Sunday afternoon. The MJS Holdings Limited East Coast Mini Stock Tour will contest their stock car season finale on Saturday afternoon in the Sticker Fool 50. Tim Webster (Beaver Bank, NS), one of the highest statistically ranking drivers in Atlantic Canada for 2017, leads Matthew Warren (White’s Lake, NS) by 14 points following the TJ Greenlawn Dirt Clash at Valley Raceway. Roger LeBlanc has been stunt driving for well over three decades and will attempt to set a World Record on Sunday at the CENTRE For Speed for the longest oval wheelie with three passengers on board his bike. LeBlanc will need to complete three laps around the 3/8-mile oval to do so, which is a feat within itself. Fans will be on the edge of their seats as LeBlanc tries to re-write the record books! Tickets for Atlantic MONSTER Nationals are $30 for Adults and $18 for Children at the gate on show day. Pit Party tickets are $5 each. Advance tickets are available at Ayer Convenience on Killam Drive in Moncton, until supplies last. Advance Tickets are $27.50 for Adults, $17.50 for Children and include a Pit Party pass.
