Mike Stevens Memorial Events Rescheduled for October 8 September 29, 2016 Regional Management at Petty International Raceway has announced a make-up date of October 8 for the Mike Stevens Memorial presented by R. Stevens Mechanical and Carnahan Property Management weekend that was postponed due to rain this past Sunday. The pit gate opens at 9 a.m., the front gate opens at 10:30 a.m. and racing starts at Noon. A complete schedule will be announced next week. The event features the conclusion of the Mister Transmission Mini Stock feature which had 12 laps (of 50) remaining. The Atlantic Modified Tour and Legend divisions will contest their 50-lap features and will have qualifying heat races added to the program. The card will also include non-point features for Bandoleros (20 lap feature), Street Stocks (30 lap feature) along with an additional 25-lap Mini Stock feature. The Limited Late Model (Sportsman) division completed their heat races and will contest their 75-lap feature with the lineup based on heat race finishes. Teams that did not participate in those heat races are welcome to attend but will start at the rear of the 75-lap feature. The event will conclude with the Petty International Raceway Recognition Ceremony, which will honor the top five finishers of 2016 in each of the five house divisions at the track along with the Petty Fan Choice Most Popular Driver and Best Looking Car Award for each class. Fans can vote for their favorite teams to win these awards by heading to PettyFanChoice.com until Tuesday, October 4. Rain checks issued Sunday, September 25 will be honoured October 8 (only). Walk-up admission is $20, youth aged eight to 18 is $10, and children seven and under will be admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $30.
