Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame Launches New Website October 25, 2017 Regional PETITCODIAC, NB – Management for the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame (MMHF) is pleased to announce the launch of a new website which will better serve its inductees, members, supporters, and visitors. The online home for the organization is now fully responsive so interacts with whatever device it is being viewed on to provide the best experience. It features information about the MMHF Museum in Petitcodiac, its honored inductees, membership, special events and more. The site is a valuable resource for motorsports enthusiasts in the Maritime provinces and beyond. The website also includes features such as e-commerce where supporters can purchase a membership, giftware, raffle tickets, event tickets, and even make donations online. Additionally, the entire site is fully searchable by keywords and the Alumni section can be filtered by induction year, category, and genres. News’N’Views, a monthly community paper published by the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame, can be viewed online using a flipbook feature that simulates turning pages on a printed edition. Since its inception in 2003 more than 100 men, women, and groups have been inducted into theĀ Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame. Each inductee has its own page on the site with a biography and photos. Inductees include those from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island who have made significant contributions to and/or noteworthy accomplishments in all genres of motorsports. Nominations are made by the public and selections made by a nominations committee. Nominations can now be made online. The domain address for the new website is the same as that which has existed for several years: www.maritimemotorsporthalloffame.com or viewers can use a shortened version – www.mmhf.ca – which will also get them to the site. Tickets for the 11th Annual Induction Gala on November 18 are now available for online purchase by following the link on the homepage. Ten new inductees will be honored at the event which will be held in Summerside, PE at the Loyalist Country Inn. Full details are available here.
