Same Hornish Jr. won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 23rd annual NASCAR Nationwide Series Aaron’s 312 at Talladega Superspeedway. He turned a lap of 51.368-seconds/ 186.783 mph around the 2.66-mile tri-oval to win his first pole in four races at Talladega. Elliott Sadler was second quick with a lap of 186.776 mph; it is his sixth top-10 start of 2014 and fifth in six races at Talladega. Darrell Wallace Jr (third) posted his first top-10 start at Talladega Superspeedway. It is his first in one races this season. Ryan Reed (fourth) was the fastest qualifying rookie.
