$20 Car Load Admission Night at Scotia Speedworld is POSTPONED By Rain June 9, 2017 Regional June 9, 2017, @ 1:00 p.m. – The CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series event scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to weather and will not be rescheduled. Next Friday night it is Hydraulics Plus Night featuring the Toursec Thunder & Lightning, Strictly Hydraulics Legends, Pulse Heavy Duty Trucks and the Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros. $20 Car Load admission pricing will be carried over to next Friday, June 14. June 8, 2017 – This week Scotia Speedworld’s summer of affordable family fun continues with $20 A Car Load Night. Gather up your friends and family, hop in a car and everyone gets in for just $20! If you are more of the solo type, no problem, reduced admission prices will also be available -$10 for adults, $2 for youth, children 7 and under are free all summer at Scotia Speedworld. Five CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series divisions will see action including the Toursec Thunder, Strictly Hydraulics Legends, Affordable Fuels & Metro Home Heating Sportsman, Pulse Heavy Duty Trucks and Hydraulics Plus Bandoleros. Racing Action gets underway at 7:00 PM. After two events, the CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series has been heating up quicker than the June weather. Among the highlights from last Friday include Nic Baker (Middle Sackville) becoming a winner for the first time in the Toursec Thunder division while Megan Parrott (Beaver Bank) outdrove two-time track champion Gordie Ritchie (Elmsdale) to score a popular victory with the fans. Of the 13 feature events contested so far in 2017, the CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series has produced 13 different winners. Dylan Langille will join track announcer Tim Terry as the co-host for $20 Carload Admission Night. Langille is the host of the Saturday Night House Party on 89.3 K-Rock in Kentville, sister station to Scotia Speedworld Media Partner Q104, and is the voice of Valley Raceway in Melvern Square. Langille makes his second Speedworld stop after co-hosting Kiddie Rides in September 2016. Please note $20 carload admission is not applicable or upgradable to the pit area.
