First Night Show On Deck at Speedway 660 This Saturday May 26, 2016 Regional GEARY, NB – The first night race of the 2016 stock car racing season takes place this Saturday at Speedway 660, starting at 6:30 p.m. It’s the second race of the year and follows a very successful Riverview Ford Season Opener & Kids Day. “Saturday is our traditional race night and race teams and fans are looking forward to getting back in the groove as we present an exciting Weekly Championship Point racing event,” said Speedway 660’s Max Roy. “The Riverview Ford Season Opener and Kids Day was a huge hit with our fans and the incredible racing we were treated to last weekend is only going to get better this Saturday.” Fans will see four distinct divisions of racing which includes: the Re/Max Group Four Realty Pro Stocks, Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman, DMR Auto Sales Street Stocks and Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters. “Our four weekly divisions are all highly competitive and offer fans a wide range of racing from the little front wheel drive, four cylinder sharp shooters to the highly technical and wicked fast pro stocks,” said Roy. “We also have old school, metal body street stocks and our sensational sportsman cars which are a step up from street stock, but not quite as fast as the pros.” Adult ticket prices for Saturday’s event are $14, Youth tickets (eight to 15 years of age) are $10 and pit passes are $2. The Family Pass, which includes tickets for two adults and two youths, is $38. Children seven and under are admitted free. There is no rain date for this weekend’s event.
