Enduro Expected to Highlight This Saturday’s Show at Speedway 660 July 17, 2014 Regional This Saturday night at seven o’clock, Speedway 660 presents the second ENDURO 200 of the 2014 racing season. It’s the only ENDURO of the season to run under the lights. “ENDURO drivers always look forward to their only night race of the season and I’m sure it’ll be a wild night in the Geary Woods” said Speedway 660’s Max Roy. “It’s a lot of fun turning the track over to the ENDURO drivers and watching them thrill our fans with their exciting brand of racing.” Round one of this season’s ENDURO series went to the Pat Sharpe. The former ENDURO champion, from Woodstock, was really strong and dominated the race. Team Barton brought their “Holstein Express” car home in second place as Kenny Barton and his daughters Kim and Courtney shared the driving duties. Nathan Gallant, from Minto, drove to a third place finish in the first ENDURO. “We got spun out a few times, but other than that everything went our way in the first ENDURO so we were happy to get to the Riverview Ford Victory Lane” said Pat Sharpe. “We’ve got a great crew and our car is ready to go on Saturday night, but I’m betting this will be a much tougher challenge because the other drivers are bound to focus a little more on the 51.” Adult ticket prices for this weekend’s ENDURO are $12 – Youth tickets, for kids between 8 and 15 years of age are $9 dollars and admission is absolutely free for race fans – seven and under. Family passes are not available for ENDURO events. There is no rain date for Saturday’s ENDURO. If the weather is unsettled on Saturday morning, please call the race line at 506-454-7223 or visit www.speedway660.com for race day status updates. Remember, this is the only ENDURO of the year that runs under the lights. Speedway 660’s wildest and craziest night of the season goes this Saturday night at 7PM. On Saturday, July 26th Speedway 660 hosts the Best of the Best Pro Stock 150. The winner of that race gets an automatic starting spot in the 250 on SpeedWeekend. The DMR Auto Sales & Service Street Stock 50, which was rained out earlier in the season, has been added to the July 26th schedule. Speedway 660 is located in New Brunswick’s Fredericton region, it attracts race teams and fans from the Maritimes, Maine and Quebec.
