Cummins to Sponsor Two PST Races in New Brunswick June 6, 2017 Regional Management for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour (PST) is excited to announce a continued partnership with Cummins that will continue to see the recognizable brand present two professional stock car events in the Province of New Brunswick in 2017. The Cummins 150 at Speedway 660 on July 1st and the Cummins 200 at Petty International Raceway on August 26th will see company branding at the forefront in two important rounds on the popular Maritime touring series. Cummins stepped up in 2015 as a one race sponsor on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour as the presenting partner of the Series’ only stop at Speedway 660 in Geary, New Brunswick. In 2016, Cummins presented the 150-lap event on the River Glade International weekend in addition to their race at Speedway 660. Greg Proude (Springvale, PE) became the first driver from Prince Edward Island to win a Tour sanctioned event at Speedway 660 by crossing the line first at the Cummins 100. Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) took his second straight August win at Petty International Raceway with his win last year at the Cummins 150. Each of the Cummins sponsored races will have 50 extra laps on their distances from 2016, making both races pivotal in deciding the 2017 Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Champion. “We are thrilled to have Cummins back as part of the Parts for Truck Pro Stock Tour Family.” Said Ken Cunning, General Manager of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. “Cummins stepped up to be a two race sponsor last season and we are pleased they want to continue to be a multi-race sponsor on the Series.” The next round for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour takes place on Saturday, June 10th at Petty International Raceway in River Glade, New Brunswick.
