The Four Fun division took center stage Sunday afternoon as they opened up their first round of the super series with an extended 25-lap feature. With close to 20 cars starting the field didn't disappoint the fans in attendance. When the feature started there was a mad scramble to get to the front which caused cars to get tangled up with each other on numerous occasions sending almost half of the pack back to the pits before the race was done. Maritime Racing Legend Caleb Dunn Passes Away

SALISBURY, NB (May 28, 2012) - One of the Maritimes racing greats, Caleb Dunn, passed away Monday at a Moncton hospital; he was 84. He was a lifetime fan of stock car racing and drove for more than 30 years, with more than 200 wins to his credit. Dunn's accomplishments in, and contribution to, regional stock car racing were formally acknowledged in 2006 when he became a member of the inaugural class of the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame. He was also enshrined on the Moncton Wall of Fame in 2001.

Oyster Bed Speedway kicked off their racing season Monday afternoon. Many storylines existed heading into the first race date. HALIFAX, NS (May 21, 2012) - A fast-paced caution-free CARQUEST 100 afternoon saw Craig Slaunwhite start the 2012 season exactly where he left 2011: in Victory Lane at Scotia Speedworld.
