CFS Announces Street Racing Events for 2014

Shediac’s Centre for Speed is announcing events and entertainment for local drag racing enthusiasts with street legal machines who want somewhere safe in Moncton to push the edges of their machines performance envelope.

The events which the CENTRE is calling Thursday Thunders will run several Thursday nights from mid July to mid August and will include competitions such as Street Drags, Oval Drags, Slalom Time Trials and Burnouts.

Track owner Tim Wile said “We’re very fortunate to have a uniquely designed facility where racing enthusiasts of various types can push their machines limits with little risk of any serious damage or threat of injury.  We think performance enthusiasts will have a great time during these events.”

The Shediac CFS has also added a Mini Stock invitational to one of the nights which it hopes will highlight the excitement of both genres of Motor Sport for the fans and competitors.
