Ben Rowe Breaks Oxford Dry Spell With PASS Win April 18, 2016 Regional OXFORD, ME – Ben Rowe, from nearby Turner, won the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North SLM Speedway Homes 150 at Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday afternoon. It was Rowe’s first win at his home track in more than five years. The four-time PASS champ beat DJ Shawn and Johnny Clark to the finish line in a three-wide finish. Brent Dragon and Mike Rowe rounded out the top five. Forty-eight teams entered the race which saw 35 on the starting grid set by heat races, won by Shaw, Dan McKeage, Brent Dragon and Matt Matheson (Oromocto, New Brunswick.) Matheson scored the highest finish of the Maritime Canadian contenders at 19th; Dartmouth, Nova Scotia’s Cole Butcher was 30th, completing only 39 laps. Greg Fahey, from St. Stephen, New Brunswick, failed to qualify for the feature.
