It is the first of many CARS Tour events that MacDonald has on his calendar this year, most of which will be spent south of the border racing with both CARS and PASS. Three of his 24-race schedule will be in the Maritimes – two at Riverside International Speedway (June 11 and July 23 for the IWK 250), and one at Speedway 660 for their 250 on Labour Day weekend. MacDonald will drive the No. 13 out of King Racing, familiar to veteran Maritime stock car racing fans as the car made famous by Austin’s grandfather, Rollie MacDonald.
