Atlantic Oliver Tire 200 to Run in Memory of Jim Hallahan

HALIFAX, NS – The penultimate event for the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour 2021 season will take place this Saturday at Scotia Speedworld. Management of the Series has announced the Atlantic Oliver Tire 200 will be run in honour of racing legend Jim Hallahan who passed away in December.  Jim was a giant in Canadian racing circles for over 70 years and was a valued and adored staff member of the Pro Stock Tour since its inception in 2001.

In addition to running in Jim’s honour drivers competing in the Atlantic Oliver Tire 200 will also be racing for valuable points and lap money. Leading a lap will pay $25, adding $5,000.00 to the purse posted by the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour. Additionally, there will be a $250 cash bonus for the driver leading at the halfway mark of the race courtesy of Delux Paints in Bayers Lake.

Tickets for the Atlantic Oliver Tire 200 (grandstand seating only) are on sale now at www.eventbrite.ca. Tickets are $30.00 for adults, youth 15 years and under are $10.00. Pit tickets will be available at the back gate on race day only, pit passes are $35.00.

Per Public Health protocols social distancing is required, and fans need to wear a mask while entering, exiting, and moving about the facility. Masks can be removed while seated.
