Ashton Tucker Dominates for Pro Stock Win at Speedway 660 July 2, 2018 Regional GEARY, NB – It was only a matter of time before Ashton Tucker (Lyttleton) found victory lane in the 2018 season at Speedway 660. Saturday night was that time as the youngster led wire-to-wire in the 50-lap RE/MAX East Coast Elite Pro Stock feature. “Our crew has been working really hard over the past few races and they gave me a great car tonight,” said Tucker following the race. “It feels pretty good to finally get back to victory lane. We have had success in the longer races and with 100-laps next week we hope we can carry some momentum over to that race.” Defending champion Brent Roy (Hanwell) raced to second place, his best finish on the 2018 season to date. Greg Fahey (St. Stephen), who is chasing a fifth Pro Stock title, finished third. Sophomore Ryan Messer (Harvey) and Devin Snell (Saint John) completed the top five. Messer and Tucker took home heat races. Alexandra O’Blenis (Boundary Creek) is the first repeat winner in the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman division for the 2018 season. O’Blenis bested Drew Greenlaw (Eastport, ME) and Curtis Collins (Saint John) for her second Sportsman feature win of the year. Jacob Logan (Harvey) and Courtney O’Blenis (Boundary Creek) completed the top five. Logan and Greenlaw took home heat race victories. Riley Goodwin (MacAdam) joined the list of DMR Auto Street Stock division feature winners on Saturday with his first win of the year. Goodwin raced to the win over “The Villain” Rick Cashol (Saint John) and Matt Crocker, who each scored their first podium runs on the year. Bill Storey and Kyle MacKinnon raced to popular wins in the heat races. Brody Levesque (Fredericton) is a three-time winner in the Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters division after scoring the win on the Canada Day Long Weekend. Levesque was joined on the podium by BJ Gillespie (Nackawic) and Malcolm Suley. Rookie Randy Titus (French Lake) raced to a fourth-place finish ahead of Bryan Suttie (Keswick). Suley and Scott “Bat Hubby” Kennie (Fredericton) took home heat race victories.
