Results – Petty International Raceway – June 5

(RIVER GLADE, NB – Following are unofficial results from the 2021 season opener at Petty International Raceway on Saturday. Please note, all results are unofficial until posted otherwise on PettyRaceway.com.

In the main event, Kenny MacKenzie Jr. (Salisbury) took home the O’Blenis Auto Body Sportsman 100, snapping a two-year winless drought in the A.E. McKay Builders Late Model Sportsman division at the track he holds the 2017 championship at. He led 90 laps of the season-opening feature. Justin Beers (Moncton) charged hard at the end and edged out Alexandra O’Blenis (Boundary Creek) for the runner-up position.

Feature winners on the afternoon included Travis Conroy (Atlantic Modified Tour), Michael Cormier (Street Stock), Rob Poirier (Mister Transmission Mini Stock), Gail Thebeau (Kings County Performance Women on Wheels) and Kelsea Lewis (Leisure Days RV Bandoleros).
