Full Results – RE/MAX 250 at Speedway 660 September 7, 2020 Regional GEARY, NB – Ashton Tucker (Lyttleton, NB) became the first driver in the history of the RE/MAX East Coast Elite Realty Pro Stock 250 at Speedway 660 to win the event in back-to-back seasons Sunday with his win in the 20th Annual event. Tucker led 181 of the 250 laps and pocketed nearly $21,000 for his performance in the race. The 250 came down to a final restart with five laps to go, pitting two-time Maritime Pro Stock Tour champion Cole Butcher (Hantsport, NS) to Tucker’s rear bumper and Sydney, Nova Scotia’s Kyle Reid to his outside. Reid spun the tires on the final restart, setting up a showdown for third and a battle between Tucker and Butcher that ultimately resulted in Tucker racing away with his second straight 250 win. Butcher, Reid, Steve Halpin (Saint John, NB) and Lonnie Sommerville (Barnesville, NB) completed the top five. Twenty-seven cars entered the event. Dave O’Blenis (Boundary Creek, NB), Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) and Ryan Messer (Harvey, NB) took home heat race wins. Sunday support class racing was won by Yves McCray (Neguac, NB; Atlantic Modified Tour Krown Rust Control 35), Colton Noble (Upper Nine Mile River, NS; TCM Bandolero Blast Round Two), Jesse Deveau (Greenwood, NS; Mini Stock Open) and Riley Goodwin (McAdam, NB; DMR Auto Street Stock 50). They join Courtney O’Blenis (Boundary Creek, NB; Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman 125), Cody Byrne (Orwell Cove, PE; Mini Stock), Tanton Wooldridge (Summerside, PE; TCM Bandolero Blast Round One), Braden Langille (Shubenacadie, NS; Legend), Chris Wilson (South Esk, NB; Bryn Enterprises 35 Atlantic Modified Tour) and Randy Storey (Royal Road, NB; Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters) as SpeedWeekend winners in 2020.
