Summer is finally here with a forecast of sunny and 20 degrees for Avondale, Newfoundland’s Eastbound Park. Enjoy Father’s Day at the track with four divisions fighting for season championship crowns plus the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Father’s Day 75 feature. Gates open at 1 pm, Heat races start at 2 pm, and the main event 3:30 pm. Featured divisions include the Napa Auto Parts Sportsman, Hanlon Realty US Legends, Atlantic Dodge Dealers Hobby Stock, and Islander RV Bandolero’s. Fans are advised to visit their local ATM and purchase tickets in advance, to avoid lineups and loss in debit machine communications due to the location of Eastbound and high volume of cell phone users; this issue is being resolved and a new tower will be on-site soon.
