26th Annual Shriner’s Classic Highlights Friday Show at Speedworld

HALIFAX, NS – The 26^thedition of the Shriners’ Classic for the Fleet Brake Sportsman is set for Friday night. In addition to the 50 lap Sportsman feature fans will also see racing action from the Toursec Thunder & Lightning, Strictly Hydraulics Legends, and Bandoleros. Racing action will get underway at 7:00 pm with grandstands opening at 5:00 pm.

The Shriners’ Classic is one of the most prestigious Sportsman races in the province. A quick look at the past champions list will show several big names in the sport, many of whom have gone on to win championships and compete with the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour.

Admission for the Shriners’ Classic presented by Fleet Brake is $20.00 for Adults; Youth (8-15) are $5.00 and children 7 and under are free…all summer long! Tickets are available at the gate on race day.
